For me, Listening preparation took about 2 weeks with my normal work rhythm in the office.
During the last week, I spent around 2 hours every evening listening to more and more tasks.
What I would do with DutchExam 📚
If I had a service like DutchExam during preparation, I would try to listen every day.
The goal is to make your brain calm when it hears Dutch speech. Instead of panicking, it should start catching keywords that help answer exam questions.
When I felt ready ✅
I started feeling ready when I was consistently scoring above the passing score on practice tests.
For me, that was the clearest signal. Not just 'I think I understand Dutch,' but real test results.
