How difficult is the inburgering Writing exam?

For me, Writing was difficult because I had a block when I needed to formulate sentences.
Even though I could speak a bit, sitting down and writing correct sentences felt different. My brain needed time to build the sentence, choose the right words, and avoid mistakes.
The hardest part 😅
The hardest part was tasks with unfamiliar words.
In this situation, I think it is better to stay logical and use typical grammar structures that you know well. Even if you do not fully understand the task, it is better to write a grammatically correct sentence with the unknown words than to write nothing.
From my perspective, correct writing matters a lot in this exam, so simple and correct sentences are safer.
What made Writing easier ✅
A lot of writing exercises and self-checking made Writing easier.
It is important not only to write, but also to check your own sentences. During the exam, I found around 10 mistakes in my text, even though at first I thought the sentences were correct.
Reading and writing use different mental processes, so you really need to reread what you wrote before writing the final answer.
My practical advice 📝
Because the exam is handwritten, I would first write a draft.
Then I would read it, fix mistakes, and only after that carefully rewrite the final answer.
This is slower than typing, so it is important to practice this process before the exam.
